After spending many years raising 6 children as a stay-at-home mother, I finished my bachelors degree in Communications Studies and I became licensed as a real estate agent. Many of the skills honed in raising children have carried over into this endeavor—time management, the art of negotiation, and communication skills, to name a few. Learning new things, educating others about the process involved in real estate transactions, and getting to know clients in new ways are some aspects of this job that I am enjoying. Real estate experience prior to becoming licensed includes building, renovating, renting, and selling our own home and rentals.
